The development of CowLog is mainly driven by the needs of our research group, the Research Center for Animal Welfare, but feel free to suggest new features in the forum.

The next version of CowLog will introduce a possibility to configure the names of behaviors and show them on coding buttons. The code for this has already been contributed by Matt Dubins from Toronto and can be downloaded from the development branch.

The source code of CowLog is hosted on Launchpad project page: http://launchpad.net/cowlog and you can also use that page to report bugs or contribute code. It is also a good place to start if you want to join CowLog development team.

CowLog is written in Python programming language and it uses PyQT4 for the Graphical user interface.
