Hi Andy,
That's actually really simple to do, you can just copy an existing column of buttons and change the labels and actions on what they do. You'll only need to change the behavioural code + the file name to end .bh4 (if you follow the CowLog filenames). Animal currently handles all columns separately anyway, so if you want to combine the data from two button colums you need to some coding yourself.

Dear Matti,
I have an associate who would really like to use CowLog for their Honors project, but he has more than 24 behaviours to be scored in his ethogram. I've had a quick attempt at modifying the number of behaviours (B1, B2, B3, and a new B4 column) in Kommander, but haven't yet found how to add extra score keys. Is there a way to do this please? Perhaps the extra columns and rows (categories) might interfere with your 'Animal' R package later in the analysis stage?
Cheers,
Andy
